Community Energy Advocate and Pioneer, Lynn Benander of Co-op Power, to Keynote at the 2014 LES Conference!
The theme for the 2014 Local Energy Solutions Conference is "Putting the Local Back in Local Energy" and our keynote speaker, Lynn Benander, has an innovative and back-to-the-future vision of how communities across New England can lead such efforts. As the Executive Director of Co-op Power, a consumer-owned sustainable energy cooperative, Lynn has worked with a team of local leaders to develop sustainable energy projects that build a multi-racial, multi-class movement toward a sustainable and just energy future. Lynn will share her vision for how communities and their residents can once again own and generate their own energy, while stimulating resilient, local economies and generate capital without compromising the beauty and natural resources of the communities we love. More on Lynn.
Registration is now open for EXHIBITORS & ATTENDEES!
Brought to you by the New Hampshire Local Energy Work Group, the annual LES conference provides critical resources, information, and guidance for local governments and school districts across the state seeking to implement an energy reduction project in their municipality. The conference provides an ideal forum to meet and learn from other New Hampshire residents who have successfully implemented an energy project, hear best practices, identify financing options, and much, much more!
